WHO WE ARE 

Salt and Light: Jesus said that we, His disciples, are the "salt of the earth", yet our present paradigms of leadership and mission seem to have failed and lost their saltiness. He said that we, His disciples, are the "light of the world", yet our present approach to being light seems to have also failed and is evidenced by the current loss of a moral center in the United States. The question is: "What are we going to do about it?"

Time for Change: As people whom many in the Institutional Church consider Revolutionaries, we believe that the old systems of Christian institutionalism and leadership hierarchies  cannot be repaired. We are not willing to continue to try to fix them. We are not looking for a process improvement, but a process revolution. It is time for change!

Need for Leadership: We recognize that there is an overwhelming need for quality Christian leadership in every part of our society. There is a need for new leadership in the Church and in the marketplace everywhere. Leaders who know how to nourish and rely on the innate creativity, freedom, generosity, and caring of people. Leaders who are life-affirming rather than life-destroying. Leaders who will listen to what God has to say through others and not insist that they know it all. Unless we figure out how to recognize, nurture and release this new Christian leadership, we can't hope for peaceful change in our state, nation or the world. We will, instead, be confronted by increasing anarchy and societal meltdowns.

The Mind of Christ: Please understand that we neither believe nor claim that we have solutions at this time to offer for the problems and challenges we face as a nation or here in Florida. We do believe substantive change can happen through the collective actions of ordinary Christian leaders operating in community. Leaders who are willing to lead without being possessive, to be helpful without taking credit and who are ready to let go of control in order to achieve together more for the cause of Christ and His Kingdom. We believe that the problems and challenges of these times call for the collective intelligence of the whole "Body" of Christ.

Invitation to Participate: We are inviting Christian leaders and aspiring leaders throughout Florida, both in the church and the marketplace, who identify with the Decisions That Define Us, to become a part of the Florida Revolution and work together in the spirit of Christ, to co-create the solutions we seek. 

Revolution that results in Reformation: Please note that we are not about developing hierarchical organizations, but rather bringing men and women of God together with Christ as our head, for the common cause of discovering and implementing solutions to America's and Florida's woes. In other words, a Revolution that results in Reformation!
